BIOGRAPHY
JOSEPH PETER is an American Artist/ Entrepreneur of Italian heritage. Joseph had traveled to over 133 countries before his 30th birthday in 2009. At the age of 18 Joseph moved to Paris during the FIFA World Cup 98 to pursue his professional soccer career and further his art studies throughout, Italy, South of France, England etc. 10 years later after founding several tech and entertainment ventures, Joseph has turned his focus to art with a cause on a global scale. Joseph's mission, to show the positive face of every country in the world. When asked the basis, he responds with a simple qoute from Nelson Mandela... "People need inspiration to change" and connecting the happiness of humanity in imagery is a form of art Joseph believes inspires like no other. Joseph is on pace to travel to all 208 countries by his 35th birthday in 2015 in pursuit of The World Book of Happiness.

A student of Steve Mccurry Famed National Geographic Photographer known for his iconic image of the Afghan Girl, Joseph also cites influences ranging from the work of Cartier-Bresson, Peter Beard, Andrew Xenios and iconic late photojournalist Dan Eldon. When not traveling JOSEPH resides in NYC and LA. Joseph has taken portraits of over 40 heads of state, public figures, musicians etc and donates work to charities such as the America India Foundation, Global Action Fun for Children, Madison Square Boys and Girls Clubs, African Rainforest Conervancy anf Charity Water to name a few.

Joseph is a founding member of the SanDisk Extreme Team an exclusive group of emerging professional photographers who take the mediums of photography to the extreme and do exceptional things with their work. Joseph shoots exclusively with CANON.
